We capture photo and video at most events for marketing, reporting and the historical record. This policy explains your choices.
1.Opt-out by default for sensitive use
Marketing use of identifiable imagery of under-18s is opt-in only, via parental consent. Adult attendees may opt out at any time using the lanyard system.
2.Lanyard system
At in-person events, every attendee receives a lanyard: green = happy to appear in media, red = please do not photograph. Crew are briefed to respect lanyard choices.
3.How imagery is used
- Marketing across our website, social media and partner channels.
- Editorial coverage of events.
- Internal training and post-event reports.
- Sale or commercial licensing — never without separate written consent.
4.Withdrawing consent / requesting removal
Email privacy@esporting.co.uk describing the image. We will remove it from Esporting-controlled channels within 30 days, though third-party reshares may persist.
5.Child likeness
Identifiable imagery of under-18s is never published with full name, school or location detail without explicit parental consent.
