The Pan-European Game Information (PEGI) system guides every title selection we make. We do not run titles above the age rating of the youngest participant.
1.Audience-to-rating mapping
- Primary & KS2 (under 11) — PEGI 3 / PEGI 7 only. Typical: Rocket League, Minecraft, Mario Kart, Fall Guys.
- Secondary KS3 / KS4 (11–15) — PEGI 12 maximum. Typical: Rocket League, FC, Splatoon, Overwatch 2 (where venue allows).
- Sixth-form / FE (16–17) — PEGI 16 maximum. Mature competitive titles considered case-by-case.
- Adult (18+) — PEGI 18 available. ID checks at point of registration.
2.Parental information
Event invitations always list the title, PEGI rating and a brief content note. Parents may withdraw consent for any specific title without penalty.
3.Refusal-to-run policy
Esporting will refuse to run any title not appropriate to the confirmed audience age, even if requested by the client. Where in doubt we default down a rating.
4.Review
This guidance is reviewed annually against PEGI updates and the UK Video Recordings Act 1984 framework.
